Alemates SF
Alemates is San Francisco based social club, united over the common interests of casual chess playing and skillfully crafted brews. I was contacted to brand the group and create a fun, satirical logo and produce a full-sized flag showcasing the design.
Branding / Logo Design
I thought up ‘Alemates,’ a convenient synonym for drinking buddies, as well as a nod to the ever resented stalemate. Inspired by vintage sports branding, the logo combines the top of beer bottle with a chess piece, further unifying these two governing concepts.
Flag Creation
Once the design was finalized, I resized the image for print and ordered & assembled the final flag.
